Original owner: WL Stephenson, owner of Woolworths. Named after daughters Velma, Sheila & Daphne.

Velsheda was the second of only four - now legendary - J class yachts, built in Britain. The other six were built in the US.
She was restored in 1984 and then rebuilt again in 1997 by Gerard Dijkstra and John Mumford in Southampton.
