There are getting to be far too many entries for me to
recap in a couple of paragraphs! So I'll be brief. The
largest new entry on the site was Cedar Sea II, spotted
by Christophe Oliva near Seyne. All the others can be
browsed in the June archive.

Galactica, the new 50 m flagship of the Heesen fleet,
was photographed in Mallorca by Gerhard Merz. We got a
closer look at Secret when she came to Monaco.
Christophe Oliva sent in a collection of photos of the
preparation for the America's Cup in Valencia.
The build up to the Grand Prix was exciting this year, with all eyes on rising star Lewis Hamilton. In the end he took second place on the podium behind team-mate Alonso, but confirmed early signs that he is indeed an exceptional driver.
In the port there was a good show, with the return of Floridian to Europe and a visit from Princess Mariana accompanied by Moon Goddess. The star on water was Amevi, the bold new 80m from Oceanco, which sat proudly beside fellow Indian owned Indian Empress.
All these and many, many more in the May archive

The Snapper, Sunseeker's
new 37m tri-deck, arrived in Golfe Juan, its new
home. New photos were also added of many of the
other Sunseeker models, including
the Predator 108 featured in the recent Bond film.
Two major new launches appeared in Antibes: Secret, 61m from Feadship, and Lady Sheridan, 58m from Abeking & Rasmussen.
Henri Krijnen shared the story of De Vrouwe Christina, his beautifully restored 1957 Feadship, and provided an illustration from Guatemala. Mats Nelson sent in some great shots of the one-of-a-kind Asean Lady in Saigon. And Bob Paylor sent in some new photos from St Barths, including Eos and Atlantide. Also many from the Bucket but they were only posted in May.
And finally, I went on a yacht-free holiday to Brazil and, obviously, took some photos. Water, anyone?
Many thanks as always to everyone sending photos, posting photos, leaving comments, writing emails. If I'm a little slow to respond sometimes it's because its getting pretty busy down here.
You may have noticed also that site has a new sponsor, Find-a-Crew, the little white button below the main menu. They reported that they immediately started receiving referrals from this site. If you have a yacht-related business that could benefit from extra traffic, monacoeye would be happy to have you as a sponsor. Just email monacoyachts@gmail.com …

March 2007
25/03/07 11:21
A new hard drive and new photo management software
allowed monacoeye to continue a back office spring
clean in March, throwing up many previously unpublished
photos.
Annaliesse was sold to a Middle Eastern buyer and renamed Delma. I took the opportunity to overhaul records for Delma and Alysia and uploaded dozens of new photos. These were published in two formats: regular and widescreen, with a contact sheet for each format, in order to cater to the wide variety of connection speeds and screen sizes out there. The same dual-size approach was used for a large album of Atlantis II photos. The link to the two formats is at the bottom of the corresponding photo page.
I started including builds under construction - greyed out together with decommissioned yachts - in the Big List. 2007 may well turn out to be a mega year for megayachts with many very significant new builds slated for delivery. It's a lot of work trying to keep up with the latest rumours so any press releases or news from builders or spotters is always welcome. Send as always to monacoyachts@gmail.com.
In this vein I showed some photos of models of CRN's line up as displayed at last year's yacht show, including GiVi which was launched last year, and was last spotted in Italy.
Monaco was visited by O'mega (still here), Blue Dawn, RM Elegant and TJ Esperanza, the new name for Thunder Gulch. Bob Paylor sent in a great photo of Coral Island as well as many others including Kelly Sea, B2, Lady Ecosse, Bayou, Blue Moon, Martha Ann and Endless Summer from St Barths.
From the back catague I added new photos of the ISA 133's Samja, Alfa XII and MJ Taknm. Also a big batch of new and old yachts with traditional styles: Lady Duvera, Amber Sea, Salee, Sunbird, Fair Play I and II, Acacia, South Paw C, Sheergold, Spada, Moon Dance and Lady May.
I updated the Bagliettos Annamia, Blue Eyes and Blue Scorpion, padded out the Heesen entry with Calaf, Harbour Moon & Lionshare, added CRN's All Seven and Ava, and Delta Marines Thirteen and CV-9. Kaleido Beau and Tajin were also added.
Two Frank Mulder designs - The World is Not Enough and Impulsive - were improved upon, though I need confirmation that my photo is indeed of Impulsive and not a sistership. I also recovered some nice photos of Thunder B from 2005 and redid the Issham al Baher entry.
All these and more can be found in the March archive or the Alphabetical Index.

February 2007
01/03/07 10:56
In February monacoeye showed off its new 2007 look,
which, judging by the feedback, seems to have been well
received.
Flying Eagle from Bloemsma & van Breemen came to Port Hercule, Lady Moura returned, possibly with a new coat of paint, and Atlantis II moved off the central T to under Fort Antoine.
I found a photo of Buka, which was added to the Heesen 3700 series. Meanwhile Lady Ingeborg has changed name to Necklace II and the 7th in the series is named Millenium. Zaza changed name to Elle. I also found a photo of Sea Cloud once the largest private sailing yacht in the world.
We also added entries for Olindia, Azimut 62S, Montrevel, Heavenly Daze,
Nashira Lamtha, D & D - no information for the last two.
Finally Bob filled in the gaps from St Barths with photos of Lady Lauren, Krisujen, Kapalua, Cheetah Moon, Abie an Azimut 116.
All can be found in the February archive.

January 2007
14/02/07 09:52
In January, Monacoeye received a steady stream of
photos from St Barths in the Carribean from our
photographer there, Bob Paylor. He was the first to
spot that Northern Star had changed name to Polar Star
and sent in new shots of Rasselas, Mosaique, Muse,
Shalimar, Quivira, Lucky Seven, Symphony II, Ohana,
Relentless, Renalo, Savannah, Sunrise, Twilight,
Wheels, Orinoquia, Midnight, Mariah II, Lys D'Ô, Lady
Iris, Lady Frances IV, Kaleen, Mystic, Griffioen. They
can all be seen in the January archive. Some
of these need a little more information. This shot sees Rupert
Murdoch's new Perini Rosehearty sailing past
Maltese Falcon and Atlantide, both owned by Tom
Perkins, and Peter Lewis' Lone Ranger. Bob also
sent in shots of the converted tug Dolce Far
Niente - the new name for Seawolfe. And lastly but
by no means leastly, Eos, the recent launch from
Lürssen, which has taken the title of the largest
private yacht in the world from Athena - we're
looking forward to seeing some more photos of what
by all accounts is a superb new sailing yacht.
The Perini Navi section was padded out with new shots of Independence, Santa Maria and Perseus. Lady Lauren is waiting in the wings with many other shots from Bob, while Monacoeye undergoes a few site formatting changes.
I saw Skat and Bleu de Nîmes in the beautiful city of Genoa, as well as a few familiar faces from Monaco, who had moved down the coast to escape the port reconstruction. Mirgab V was in one of the yards with many others I couldn't identify. Skat was then spotted again in Portofino by Heinrich Scheit, who took some really beautiful shots which I will be posting in the Skat comments section. And then Skat turned up in Monaco on February 12th, I took a few shots from the top of Monaco as she prepared to berth, and will have many more close ups to post in the next few days.
New photos of Lady Moura were added, and I took a few shots of the Monte Carlo Rally with rally star Sebastien Loeb receiving his prize from Prince Albert.
On a technical note, please make sure you have the latest browsers installed to enjoy the site at its best! For all those surfers among you still using Internet Explorer 6 (and you are the vast majority), Internet Explorer 7 is out, and it is much better. All sites, not just monacoeye, will probably work better with it. And for those of you like myself who use Firefox, the latest version is Firefox 2, so if you're still using 1.5 it's time you upgraded! Both upgrades are free. If this site is displaying badly for you I'd appreciate the feedback - it's difficult for me to test all browser-platform combinations. I'll still be making changes for the next week or so.

December 2006
01/01/07 18:25
Monacoeye followed the yachts in December, turning its
gaze southwards, largely due to the sterling work of
Robert Paylor, our correspondent stationed in St
Barths, in the French Carribean.
As well as sending in some of his back catalogue, Bob kept track of comings and goings around the port of Gustavia during the month of December. Big hitters included Rising Sun, Limitless, Lone Ranger and Amazon Express. Many other spottings have simply been posted in the comments sections of the relevant yacht page – one recent arrival was LGB, for example.
Then there were the recent launches: Linda Lou, JeMaSa, Happy Days, April Fool, Kaleen, Barchetta and Rosehearty, Rupert Murdoch’s new sailing boat.
There were also a few name changes: Serena M, ex Christine, now sports a blue sat mast, Continental Drifter III, is the new name for the Delta Marine Defiant, and Allegria, is the new name for Flamingo Daze.
And dozens of new entries were added, including Battered Bull, Arm's Reach, Tooth Fairy, Fighting Irish, Blind Date, Azure Leisure, Sunrise, Shergar, Kingfisher, Impetuous, Summerwind, Charisma, Contrarian, and Renalo.
But there was more. Dainis Kivlenieks in Western Australia took some nice shots of the trimaran motor yacht White Rabbit in Fremantle. He sent in some shots of the Danish royal yacht Dannebrog taken on holiday in August and had yachtspotters around the world scratching their heads over the identity of Nisor. Most recently he spotted the Heesen A Khaliq in Fremantle.
And there was more. Stelios Dritsas sent in some recent photos of Dubai in Jebel Ali with its engines running. While owner Sheikh Mohammed made the headlines in the UK with a bid for Liverpool FC.
Finally, I processed some of the tenders seen at the Monaco Yacht Show and made a start with some yachts seen at the St Tropez regatta. Included in the latter were a few deck shots of Lulworth, which many considered the restoration of 2006. The four explorer yachts of Prince Albert I were also posted. I was surprised to learn that Albert used to sleep aboard Hirondelle II in Port Hercule, when in Monaco during WWI - he even had a wireless telephone installed. All this and more can be found in the November and December archives…
A busy end for a busy year. A big thanks to all the contributors who sent in pictures, emails and left comments in 2006 – here’s hoping for more of the same in 2007. Happy New Year !!

November 2006
18/11/06 14:45
Monacoeye has been "on holiday" for the last few weeks,
in case anyone was wondering! But never fear it'll all
start up again shortly. I could really use some photos
from Florida, the Caribbean and Australia etc, as
that's where most of the big yachts have headed. Having
said that, I still have a selection of yachts that have
been sent in, which I haven't got round to posting, so
I'll get on with that in the next few weeks. Meanwhile
I have updated the Email & Copyright page. If
you're thinking of sending a photo in, and I hope
you are, please pay particular attention to the
new rules for guest photographers' photos.
Specifically, henceforth I will assume that anyone
sending a photo is happy to sell the photo to a
magazine etc if requested.
September & October 2006
18/11/06 14:44
September was of course dominated by the 2006 Monaco Yacht
Show. I think I took photos of pretty well all
the yachts in the show and most of them can be
found in the MYS 2006 album. A few somehow didn't
get processed in time but are on the site -
eventually I'll get them all included in one
album.
There seemed to be a lot of new builds, and a good deal of new faces. The Delta Marine built Laurel, was the biggest of the show at 73 metres, and Happy Days, 50 m, was also seen. Both are attractive well-proportioned builds. Ambrosia III and Oasis were already familiar but Blue Scorpion was new - Baglietto's biggest build to date at 53 metres. Annamia, another large new build from Baglietto was also seen briefly at the start of the show. Other new builds included Princess Iolanthe from Mondomarine, Tuscan Sun from Izar, Mirgab V from Burger Boat, Metsuyan IV from CBI Navi and Arcadia a distinguished new yacht from Royal Huisman.
You can browse them all on the MYS index page.
Following hot on the heels of the Yacht Show in October was Les Voiles de Saint Tropez, a series of regattas with a strong classic component in nearby St Tropez. I uploaded some shots to this album but many more entries are still to be posted.

August 2006
09/09/06 15:56
August is the busiest month of the year for yachts on
the Riviera but two yachts stood out on this site.
Firstly, Maltese Falcon, launched this year,
a Gerard Dijsktra & Ken Freivokh Perini Navi
sailing boat that is a certainly design
masterpiece. Secondly, Dubai, the largest yacht in the
world, photos of which were taken in Dubai and
sent in by guest photographer David Nichols.
Callisto and April Fool the smart new 60+ metre Feadships were also wonderful additions to the site. So too were Moneikos, the new 62 m build from Codecasa, and Iliki VIII launched last year.
A selection of Feadships visited local waters. New photos of Huntress, Sea Jewel, Inevitable, Sanora, Teleost, Montigne, Noa VII, Dream Seeker, Halcyon Days, Never Enough, Celine Ashley, Sussurro, Avanté IV were added while Double Haven continued her tour of NE Canada.
Most of the ISA 470 series were also seen, with new photos of recent launches Axioma and Kolaha. A selection of Akhirs were added including Element, taken by Tatiana Hughes, who sent in a whole selection of great photos. A few new photos of Bagliettos were sent in including the innovative Blue Ice submitted by Theo van der Veen. They threw away the rule book when they designed that one. Many thanks to all contributors as always.
A number of yachts with a Middle Eastern air were out and about including Prince Abdulaziz, one of the largest in the world, Al Diriyah, Tueq, Ultima III, Nourah of Riyadh, Qatar, Iman, Sahab IV, Alwaeli and Jameel. All these can be found in the Alphabetical Index - the most comprehensive index on the site.
More entrants for the 2006 Monaco Yacht Show, less than two weeks away, were added to the special section on this site, including the new Moonen My Issue, two Custom Line CRNs, sailing boat YII, the new Heesen G Force, Happy Hour, Lady Feryal, Tongue, Tango and Open Season.
Other August additions to the site include Zurbagan, Victoria del Mar, Mystère CI, Lady Candida, Lady Anastasia, Bliss, Aqua Librium, Tigre d'Or, Alcyone, Le Kir Royal, Red Dragon, Galaxia, Serenity, Blue Harem, Kijo, Tacanuya, Stavros S Niarchos, Star Ship, Lola D, Is a Rose, Moonlight, Savvy, Big Aron, Cleopatra, Darnice III, Applause, Bakhshish, Talon, Taipan, Boadicea, Northern Star, Monte Carlo, Texas, Excellence III, Adela, Cotton Blossom II, Dag, Gitana, Kimberly II, Unplugged and Aviva II.
Since it’s taken so long to write this recap I can also report that Al Mirqab is now called Indian Empress and that Anders Linden has just sent in fantastic photos of the new Devonport Samar, as well as great shots of the royal visit of Norge to Sweden last year.
Finally, a new quay was added to the port construction area and if you missed the Women's Jet Ski Championship check these photos out !

July 2006
01/08/06 11:56
Of the many yachts to have passed through Monaco in
July, this year's models included Gu from Amels, Apoise from Lürssen, Catwalk from Kaiserwerft and
Sirocco from Heesen. Some of
these will be at the Monaco Yacht Show 2006 - we've
started a new page, which will be added to over
time.
New megayacht photos were also posted of Le Grand Bleu, Al Mirqab, Stargate, Ice, Sarah, Phocea, Lady Anne, S Cape, Capri, Ilona, Phoenix, Insignia and Lady Haya.
Other new entries included Inspiration, Tatasu, yachtfish Marlena, Elisabeth F, Charisma, Sea Jewel, Shaf, No Escape, Heloval, Achilles, Ellix Too, Jamaica Bay, Alibi, Felidan, Star Ship, Northern Cross, Larissa, Big D, Alejandra, Ammoun of London, Yalla, Magic, Nufer, Follow Me, Romanza, Her Honor, Away's, My Iris, Liberty GB and a selection of Perinis including Taouey with a new white hull. They can all be found in the Alphabetical Index.
More great shots of Double Haven have been sent in as it toured round Newfoundland, with much speculation in the comments thread as to who was on board. Guest photographers include Janel Junkersfeld, Craig, Barry Parsons, Bill McDowell and Trina Kelly. Many thanks for all those fantastic shots from across the pond. Some took advantage of a new facility to post photos directly into the comments window. See the Double Haven thread for a how-to. It's a quick and dirty method of getting your photos online for all to see without getting me involved. Rab also used this method to post a nice shot of an Azimut 68S spotted in Croatia.
But I also love to receive photos by email - please send them full resolution to monacoyachts@gmail.com. Major magazines, newspapers and photo agencies are now visiting this site regularly looking for illustrations for their articles so it's a good place to get your photos noticed while helping this site build a complete stock of megayacht photos. I especially need photos of the mega-megayachts such as Dubai, Prince Abdul Aziz, Al Salamah, Al Said, Limitless, Nahlin, Asean Lady, O'mega, Arctic P, Norge, Bart Roberts, Al Diriyah, Lone Ranger, Ang Pangulo and all the yachts "in black" on the Big List page. I regularly get asked for photos of Dubai but all photos are welcome. If there is sufficient volume I'll draw up a FAQ regarding fees and rights, but for the moment, it's on an ad-hoc basis, favouring the photographer. I.e unless first agreed otherwise, monacoeye.com will simply act as an unpaid intermediary.
So, thanks again to all those sending and photos and leaving comments - especially yachtspotter who this month set me straight over one or two errors I had made in my entries

June 2006

As the summer finally kicked into gear in Monaco, with
yachts big and small enjoying the balmy Mediterranean
waters, the site has also shown yet another record
month of activity, both in terms of visitor numbers and
photos posted.
June was dominated by “Monaco Rendezvous 2006” - the Annual ShowBoats International Yacht Awards. Hot on the heels of the 63m Lionheart delivered last month, another large Benetti arrived - the new 65m Ambrosia. The yard is clearly going full steam with 58m Sunday due any time now. 56m Allegro and Galaxy and 52m Sai Ram and Midlandia were seen along with many other yachts from their 50, 44 and 35 metre ranges.
Then Attessa arrived and stole the show. The stern has been lengthened and redesigned and the entire boat refitted. It’s now one of the few yachts of its size to offer an open and welcoming entrance from the quayside. No surprise then that passers-by congregated beside her to have their photo taken with this sumptuous beauty.
It was also a pleasure to see Ice, Golden Odyssey and Golden Shadow. New photos were added for The One, Zoom Zoom Zoom, Lazy Z, Capri, Force Blue, Leander, Solemar, Apogee, Malibu, Insignia, Mustang Sally, Montigne, Christine, Sweet Doll, Mary Jean, Hud Hud, Istranka, Pamela IV, Talitha G, Ramses, Turama, Perfect Persuasion, Ohana, Roberto Cavalli, Passion, Paladin, Lady Marina, Four Wishes and Duke Town.
More superb photos from guest photographers around the world included Octopus in Nice from Michel Tripoul, Lady Anne in Stockholm from Anders Linden and Double Haven and Invader in Washington DC from Dennis DeWees. If you have a photo you’d like to show on this site please send it to monacoyachts@gmail.com - all submissions are greatly appreciated. So thanks again to all those who have sent in photos and those who have contributed comments.
The Daily Picture is still going strong with (duh!) one new photo posted every day…

This year Monaco held two weeks of races. First the
biannual Classic Grand Prix and then the Formula One.
Skat was spotted briefly, but
Lürssen’s brand new Oasis was the first star to arrive.
Then Phillip Green’s new incarnation of Lionheart took the spotlight. But
it ceded central position on the T jetty when
Mirabella V turned up. Then came RM
Elegant, Abramovitch’s Ecstasea and Renault F1 boss,
Flavio Briatore’s, Force Blue. Turama sported a BMW
banner and stayed on the big jetty. Altitude, Midlandia, QM of London,
Nafisa, Fortunato, Multiple, Virginian, Dilbar, White Cloud, White Rose of Drachs
and the fantastic new Kogo all took their places.
Briatore’s blue-shirted Renault Elf supporters were in the minority. But tragedy struck for the swarms of red-shirted Ferrari supporters, when Schumacher did the dirties in the qualifying rounds, it was deemed, by purposefully stalling his car so that Alonso could not overtake and make a better lap time. Instead of taking pole position, Schumi was sent to the back of the grid – a handicap that was to prove too much for even his great racing skills. Alonso’s Renault won the race and Force Blue stayed on to party long after the other big yachts had left.
Outside the port Alexander, Savarona, Alysia, Annaliesse, Lady Lola, Enigma, Montkaj, Amazon Express, Lady Marina, Galaxy, Zoom Zoom Zoom, Lazy Z, Altavida, Christina O, Galapagos, Il Vagabondo Again, One More Toy, Fortunate Sun, Seaflower and Islander could all be seen, with many hopping back and forth between Cannes and Monaco. Rising Sun and Lady Moura stayed in Cannes.
Scores of new yacht photos were added to the site during the month, the numbers swelled further with the help of a great new Guest Photographer feature. Anyone is welcome to email a photo in for display on monacoeye. Daisy Lin’s Evergreen, cardhouse.com & Mendoza’s Le Grand Bleu, Robert France’s Kisses, carcollectorz’ Barbara Jean and Anthony Webb’s Ilona were all fantastic additions to the site. Thanks again to all contributors…

April 2006

The Tennis Masters at the end of April mark the start
of the Monaco calendar. It is the time when the
Principality puts the winter behind it and sets a
straight course for summer sun and fun. Owners are
finally taking their boats out again and along the
coast the dark blue Med is once again criss-crossed
with tell-tale white wake lines.
Tourists filled the streets over Easter to view preparations for the Grand Prix, which is at the end of May. All the track roads have been resurfaced, most of the stands are up and the barriers are being put in place. The Grand Prix is always guaranteed to attract dozens of megayachts.
Alysia, Blue Shadow C, Lady Lola and Blue Princess paid a visit.
Salacia joined White Rose of Drachs and Lady Christina in Cap d'Ail. In Nice, I added entries for Thunderball and Revitality, a pair of fast Bagliettos, Vanquish, a recent PJ 120, Bannenberg's 1990 Opal C and the smart explorer Sinbad.
There was a display of Ferrettis in Monaco with a couple of cute Mochi Dolphins and a Custom Line CRN thrown in. I also took a few snaps of a Riva Rivale.
The second lighthouse is down and the whole area is a worksite. I wonder if this might deter megayachts from paying a visit during the summer. The new megayacht port area is coming along fast but I can't imagine it will be ready before 2007. The new jetty on the other hand is finally being put to great commercial use with a steady stream of cruise ships berthing there. Currently the enormous recent launch Noordam is in town.
I've updated some of last year's photos for High Chaparral, Lionheart, Pershing 115, Wally Lunch Boat and Y3K, Timeless, Sophie Blue, Phocea, Benalex, Thunder Gulch, Ocean Victory and the catamaran Lady Barbaretta. I added a nice new shot of Lady Marina.
Behind the scenes, I've been speeding up loading time and fixing broken links. I'm also toying with the idea of inviting visitors to this site to send me their own shots of yachts I don't have images for. Obviously there are many yachts I will never be able to take photos of myself and this would be a way of filling out the indexes as well as providing people with a nice context to display their own photos. Poorer photos would be replaced by better photos, which is the system I use currently with my own photos. The initial aim would be to get a fully illustrated top 100 on the Megayacht Size Index.
If you have any photos you would like to submit please send them to my email address monacoyachts@gmail.com . If you have many photos I can arrange FTP. Send the photos as high resolution as possible. I may crop or tidy up the photo. The photo MUST be taken by you. Send specs for the yacht and photo if you have them. I'll name credit any photographer whose work is dispayed and provide an email and/or web link if you want one. Priority will be given to megayachts that I don't already have entries for.
Occasionally people want to buy photos from this site. If you would be interested in selling a photo mention this in your email.I'll refer a potential buyer
directly to the photographer. No idea how popular
an idea this will be, if you have comments please leave
them below or email me directly.

There's been a bit of a hiatus down here. I've finally
rebuilt my hard drive and recovered some of my picture
libraries, so normal service will slowly be resuming.
In fact there hasn't been much action in Port Hercule.
The winter in Monaco has been long and cold with
frequent hail and snow showers. Demolition and
construction continues apace with the second lighthouse
now dismantled and the new megayacht berthing area
quite substantial already. Lady Moura made it back
(from the Western Med?) last week. Unfortunately a
cable snapped while mooring, according to PMY forums,
seriously injuring the leg of a crew member in the
process. Atlantis, which had been sitting on the
central T all winter, made way and has moved next to
Delphine under Fort Antoine.

Well the merry season is upon us and the megayachts
have mostly gone south for the winter. So there hasn't
been much action in Port Hercule during the last month.
Having said that, a month is a long time in Monaco and stuff has happened. Most notably, Prince Albert II was enthroned. Yours truly managed to get up close as he emerged on the Place du Palais and I took a few snaps. A couple of French frigates were also in town - Aconit's guns seemed trained on the palace as the coronation took place! There was also a naval salute by the Italian and French warships in attendance outside Port Hercule.
I have also started adding shots from the beautiful yachts of Monaco Classic Week: Sumurun, Mariella, Black Swan, Creole and Avel and many others. These can all be found in the Sailing Yachts section. . Sailing yachts are far harder to identify than motor yachts, so I've started a "Mystery Yacht" section in the sailing yachts. As always I'd really appreciate any IDs for these yachts - just leave a comment if you can help.
The northern lighthouse has now gone and the southern one is in the process of being dismantled. Atlantis II is on the central T. The One and Zenobia are on the Monte Carlo side. Titan and Lady K II are by the ex-lighthouse. Lady Marina and Wedge Too have had a revarnish and are beside Atlantis with Sokar on the central T. Lady Christina and White Rose of Drachs are in Cap d'Ail. Alysia docked a couple of weeks ago to take on petrol and I took some nice photos which I'll post shortly.
For the moment though I can't post new photos so am using the time to tidy up the site and indexes. The Alphabetical Index now has dozens more links and photos. On the home page old entries have floated to the top with new links. The Builders links in the sidebar has grown to about 50 - Feadship, Benetti and Wally have the most entries.
Wishing you all Peace and Goodwill over Christmas and the New Year - with a special hello to all my new friends in the Internet yacht(spott)ing community that I meet regularly on the PMY forums and those who leave messages here. See you all in 2006

Here's a recap of the last four weeks:
Photo pages have recently been added for Mariù, Giorgio Armani's Codecasa, & Alysia, Annaliesse's new twin.
Haida G, Zenobia, Solemar, Lady Lola, Lady Marina, White Rose of Drachs, RM Elegant, Giant, Leander G, Blue Moon pages were also added to the size index.
A large album from the Monaco Yacht Show was also added containing a good 70 yachts. You can find Wallys, Bagliettos, a Sunseeker Predator 108, and the stunning Khalila, a PJ120, to name but a few. Also some nice shots of Wedge Too, True Blue, Lady Moura and the aptly named Thunder B (…the noise). You'll find this album in the sidebar on the left.
The observant among you will also notice a new look to the site - hope you like it. I'm still transferring the old data to the new indexes so please be patient if something doesn't work and come back in a day or two. Remember also to try hitting refresh in your browser. The search box on the left is provided directly by Google and should eventually make searching this site easier, but it can only find what Google knows, which is typically a week or two out of date.

This is the first in a series of montlhy recaps to
appear on this page. Because postings disappear into
the archives so quickly I thought it might be useful.
Wow, what a fortnight… In the last 2 weeks I've added about 50 new yacht entries to this page, mostly seen at this year's Monaco Yacht Show. They can be found by clicking on the archive links in the left sidebar further down the page.
I've also officially inaugurated this site - yachts.monacoeye.com - and stopped updating the old "pages perso" site.
The RSS feed (to cut and paste) for this page is:
http://yachts.monacoeye.com/files/page0.xml
Finally, thanks again to all the contributors to this site who identify yachts and spot my mistakes (!) - it's really useful and speeds up my task no end.
